AMD has rolled out one of its broadest PC platform updates in years at CES 2026, unveiling new laptop and desktop processors, an AI-focused mini PC and fresh software features aimed at making on-device AI and better graphics the default across the PC market.

Core counts for the processors range from four cores in the lower-end Ryzen AI 5 430 to 10 cores in the Ryzen AI 9 465. That CPU has a clock speed up to 5.0GHz and 34MB of cache. It sports AMD Radeon 890M integrated graphics and can hit 55 TOPS with the onboard NPU.

AMD has just revealed the Ryzen AI 400 series at CES 2026. It's the company's new lineup of premium laptop processors, with a Zen 5 architecture, CPU boost clocks up to 5.2 GHz, and even more TOPS.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA403) is a model with an AMD Ryzen AI 400 “Gorgon Point” processor and NVIDIA RTX 5060 discrete graphics, while the new ROG Zephyrus G14 (GU405) is the first model with an Intel chip: it sports an Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics.
