An alleged intruder was fatally shot by an armed employee inside Lawrence (Kan.) City Hall on Monday, officials said.
Her alleged killer has at least two dozen arrests and was previously found guilty in 2021 of escaping from a prison.
The incident was reported as a shooting around 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4 at a home near Madison Avenue and West 38th Street.
