Qualcomm Inc., the biggest maker of mobile phone chips, said it’s extending a push into the market for processors that are the heart of personal computers.

The Snapdragon X2 Plus offers much of what's in the higher-end X2 Elite, but the Plus versions are destined for more affordable, everyday AI-focused Windows laptops.
