CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy (AP) — After a rocky two weeks of Olympic curling that included accusations of cheating and a profanity-laced rant, the Canadian men will play for the gold medal at the Milan Cortina Games.

GB's women were convincing winners over Japan this evening, having snatched an amazing win against the USA in their morning match. It's been a perfect day for Great Britain's curlers. The men's team were comfortable winners over the USA to end with a 5-4 record, which may be enough to send them through to the semi-finals.

Team USA women’s curling secured a major win on Thursday, when they beat Switzerland 7-6. Their remarkable run in the 2026 Winter Olympic Games has been filled with impressive moments, including their first-ever win against Canada in an Olympic competition.

After snapping a 24-year drought, Team USA women’s curling is one step away from making Winter Olympics history.

After a winter weather delay, the women’s Olympic team curling round robin got underway with playoff implications for three of the four sheets. The results were thrilling for the loud and boisterous crowd at the Cortina Olympic Curling Stadium.
