Asterion Talks on Instagram: "Voyager 1 has been traveling through space for 48 years, becoming the most distant human-made object ever sent into the cosmos. Yet despite its incredible journey, it has covered the equivalent of just one light-day in distance. A light-day is the distance light travels in 24 hours—and light moves astonishingly fast, at nearly 300,000 kilometers per second. Voyager 1, by comparison, moves at around 17 kilometers per second. At that pace, it would take the spacecraft
